Sherlock Holmes and the mystery of the third 2024 LEGO Ideas review
221b Baker Street, Sherlock Holmes, Watson and more have another chance at earning a spot in LEGO Ideas as the third 2024 review grows.
Dreamnbricks is back in a LEGO Ideas review with their latest take on Sherlock Holmes and 221b Baker Street following an attempt in 2022 that didn’t manage to find success in the first 2022 review round. Soon after their project didn’t find success, they debuted a refined version of the model on LEGO Ideas, which has now earned 10,000 supporters two years later.
The approximately 2,550-piece model proposes four minifigures of Sherlock Holmes, Watson, Mrs. Hudson and Moriarty as well as builds of a horse-drawn carriage and 221b Baker Street across four floors.
Should it find success in the third 2024 review, we can picture something similar to 21324 123 Sesame Street, keeping the open back for play purposes while providing a model that lends itself well to modular modification.
There are plenty of Sherlock Holmes-specific Easter eggs inside the pitched model, including The Hound of the Baskervilles novel. That’s not surprising when you consider that the fan designer was specifically inspired by The Sherlock Holmes Museum in London.
For now, it has joined the third 2024 review round alongside 34 other projects and there’s still time for this review phase to grow further with plenty of other submissions drawing close to the coveted 10,000 supporters.
