LEGO Ideas heads back to Stars Hollow with Gilmore Girls submission

The hit US comedy drama Gilmore Girls might become a future LEGO Ideas set, thanks to a fan model based on the show reaching 10K.

Thanks to a diverse range of topics and subject matter, a wide range of fan-designed models are already sitting pretty in the first LEGO Ideas review of 2025. From the biggest pop star on the planet to cult favourite movies, the existing line-up of submissions that have reached the 10K supporters mark is impressive indeed.

Joining the ranks of the 12 builds currently vying to become physical LEGO sets at some point is yet another new entry, Gilmore Girls: Stars Hollow. Based on the hit US comedy drama, the model replicates a snapshot of American life with a brick-built slice of the fictional Connecticut town, complete with a selection of minifigure inhabitants.

Gilmore Girls: Stars Hollow consists of three separate locations that will be familiar to fans: Lorelai’s House and Luke’s Diner, plus the town sign and gazebo. The Diner has a detailed interior, packed with plenty of references and Easter eggs related to the TV show, while Lorelai’s House represents just the front of the home for now, but may receive its own internal rooms at a later stage.

Designer BrickinNick reveals that although Gilmore Girls: Stars Hollow has been designed as a ‘winter village’ set, it could easily be adapted for any season featured in the series. Rounding out the LEGO Ideas submission are a collection of minifigure characters in the shape of Lorelai Gilmore, Luke Danes, Rory Gilmore, Lane Kim, Emily Gilmore, Kirk, Taylor Doose, and the beloved Town Troubadour playing his guitar.

There’s still plenty of time for many more LEGO Ideas submissions to swell the ranks of the existing sets that have made it to 10K, with May 5 being the closing date for the first review of 2025.
