LEGO Ideas’ cosy home collection may add a waterfront abode
An upcoming LEGO Ideas fan designer may add to the theme’s cosy homes with a waterfront scene that takes a different approach to water.
Terauma has managed to find success on LEGO Ideas previously with their upcoming The Gremlins Gizmo set but they’ve had many projects pass into review rounds before. Now, they’ve added their Lake House to that list, which would sit nicely alongside the likes of 21318 Tree House and 21338 A-Frame Cabin in an unofficial collection of cosy homes.
The detailed lake house model used elements placed on their side as the base, depicting water beneath the house and the accompanying boat. The house otherwise uses more familiar techniques with an oversized and exaggerated design that allows for more detail and uses less common elements including the Animal Crossing windows.
A full interior is proposed with a living room downstairs and a pair of beds upstairs for two of the three minifigures to sleep in. The approximately 2900-piece project has now joined a lengthy list of submissions in the 2024 LEGO Ideas review round, as the team has a challenging task ahead of them to decide which ones, if any, will be a future set.
