LEGO Ideas project lives on the edge as it reaches first 2022 review

An overlapping model is the latest project to make its way into the first 2022 LEGO Ideas review as the build spills off its base and into the real world.

Another LEGO Ideas project has gathered enough support to be considered for a future LEGO set in the first 2022 review, coming from the same user who already has Land Ahoy in a previous review stage – Ralf Ranghaal.

Their latest project depicts a medieval tower with wooden beams and stonework scattered throughout the build. However, the twist is that the base is hanging over one corner of the shelf that it sits upon.

While this might make it harder to build, it allows the display piece to creep into the real world by extending outside of the usual boundaries of a LEGO model. It also includes a full interior with the back wall open for easy access.
