Over the past few weeks, Brick Fanatics has reviewed the new Speed Champions sets – verdicts are available on 75890 Ferrari F40 Competizione, 75891 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Race Car, 75893 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and 1970 Dodge Charger R/T and 75894 1967 Mini Cooper S Rally and 2018 MINI John Cooper Works Buggy.

Earlier this year, the LEGO Group celebrated the career of Danica Patrick by building a full sized brick model of the motorsports icon. A giant upscaled LEGO Speed Champions Porsche 911 Turbo also toured motorsports events to promote the high octane theme.

The January 1 launches follow a whole host of new sets that were released on Boxing Day, including The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, City, Friends and Technic.
