One-of-a-kind LEGO castle model could be in LEGO Ideas’ future

There have been many LEGO Castle models in LEGO Ideas reviews, but none have been quite like the latest potential set for a few reasons.

With the launch of 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle, BrickLink Designer Program sets and more, the demand for LEGO castles has been met. However, one LEGO Ideas project is offering something familiar but undeniably different.

Lincoln SixBricks‘ first project on the platform has quickly climbed to 10,000 supporters in just over a month. While it may appear to be a traditional medieval model, this submission is inspired by the French, comedy medieval fantasy television series of the same name. However, for those unfamiliar with the source material, the build still offers something special.

The model focuses on scene-specific locations including a tavern, forest, throne room and more. It proposes 12 minifigures with the film crew on a separate build that can attach to different areas of the model.

Provided this can pass the next phase of LEGO Ideas’ third 2023 review, it could combine 21328 Seinfeld and a LEGO castle into something undeniably unique for LEGO Ideas. For now, it’s the 25th entry into the review round.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
