The LEGO Ideas Jazz Quartet has played its way to 10K supporters

Another LEGO Ideas project has managed to hit the required support it needs to potentially become a real LEGO set with the latest focusing on the musical world of jazz.

LEGO Ideas features many fan-made projects covering a massive variety of topics. From franchises to flying machines, sculptures, statues and more. However, a musical project has managed to work its way to 10,000 supporters, passing it through to the LEGO Ideas review stage.

Hsinwei Chi is the creator behind the project which proposes a series of brick-built figures with accompanying instruments, all performing on a stage. the four instruments and musicians include a trumpet player, a pianist, a drummer and a double bassist.

As undoubtedly impressive as these builds are, eagle-eyed fans might spot a few printed pieces that, while probably not intentional, add a certain flair to their respective models. The stage features some gold accenting and a brown wooden floor, perfect for display on any shelf.

This is the 28th project in an arguably massive LEGO Ideas review round. Here is every project in the current review stage:

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
