LEGO Ideas lake house remixes reliable concept for a hopeful set

The LEGO Ideas second 2025 review has grown with a lake house model, continuing what 21318 Tree House started with a nature-centric home.

P.D.G has earned a spot in the second 2025 LEGO Ideas review with their massive and detailed Lake House project. The huge creation proposes a lake-front home with a space underneath for a boat to be moored, as well as a weeping tree to the side.

While an exact piece count is not specified in the project description, it looks to be a similar size to 21341 Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage, and with a concept akin to 21338 A-Frame Cabin.

The house includes a full interior with a bedroom, a kitchen, a conservatory and a bathroom. The garden space outside comes with a rabbit warren, a picnic table and a truck to reference 10290 Pickup Truck.

This thoughtful build would certainly fit in the LEGO Ideas portfolio, and similar builds have seen success before, from 21318 Tree House to 21338 A-Frame Cabin. For now, P.D.G’s submission has reached the second 2025 review with the coveted 10,000 supporters it needs to be considered for a real LEGO set.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
