A cross between a LEGO castle and a treehouse, the latest LEGO Ideas set to make it past 10,000 supporters boasts an impressively detailed design.
Fan designer Iyan Ha‘s Forest Base sits on a rocky base, dotted with plants, shrubs, and rustic stone paths. The main build features a ton of unique features, from the sprawling staircase that leads up the main floor, the skeleton-filled prison, and the lookout section stacked with weapons to see off any potential enemies.
It offers a unique play on the long line of LEGO castles that we’ve had over the years, combining many of them same medieval tropes and trappings with a more unusual setting. The interior is just as detailed as the leafy exterior, making it a fulfilling build inside and out.
The fate of Forest Base now lies with the LEGO Ideas team, having just made it into the third 2023 review. It goes up against dozens of other sets, summarised below, to be in with a chance of becoming a real-life LEGO Ideas set that you can buy.
