LEGO No Man’s Sky blasts into LEGO Ideas’ latest review

Another video game project could be in LEGO Ideas’ future as No Man’s Sky might star in the fan-designed theme thanks to the latest review round.

LEGO Ideas’ range of fan-inspired models includes a couple of game-based builds for Minecraft and Sonic the Hedgehog but they could soon be joined by one for No Man’s Sky should nasa105 have anything to say about it.

The LEGO Ideas user’s No Man’s Sky | Radiant Pillar BC1 project has reached 10,000 supporters in just over one year, sneaking into the third 2023 review as other submissions steadily make their way towards the required number of supporters.

Based on the game of the same name, this project includes a Traveler minifigure, the Radiant Pillar BC1 – the first starship you get in the game, a small piece of scenery as well as a Sentinel drone.

The game’s legacy online and the various updates that it has received launch mean that you may recognise the ship even without playing No Man’s Sky. For now, this project joins 29 other submissions in the third 2023 review as we await the impending results for the first 2023 review.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
