LEGO Ideas Gremlins project probably doesn’t stand a chance
A LEGO Ideas project based on the Gremlins movie may not have much chance in the third 2024 review since it matches an in-development model.
Gimme Builds has officially entered LEGO Ideas’ 10K club with their Gremlins model intended to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the movie last year, but as impressive as their build, it probably doesn’t stand a chance in the third 2024 review.
Their build depicts Gizmo as a sat-down figure using just 320 elements, the official Gizmo minifigure on a UCS-style display plaque and the movie’s gift box. Everything aside from the figure would be a new addition to LEGO Ideas since terauma already has a Gizmo figure in development from a previous LEGO Ideas challenge.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t leave Gimme Builds with much of a chance in the third 2024 review, especially since the LEGO Group has over 50 other projects to pick from in the round currently. Getting this far on the platform is still commendable though.
