LEGO Ideas project barks up the right tree, hitting 10K supporters
A new entry into the third 2022 review on LEGO Ideas is proposing a variety of new LEGO dog breeds in an interactive park setting.
Adding another user to the 10K Club, petisz’s Dogs’ Fun Park – Playable Dog Run has had a sudden surge of support today, December 23, 2022, taking it to the coveted 10,000 supporter total and giving it a chance at becoming an official LEGO Ideas set in the future.
This model focuses on function rather than form with the dogs able to ‘run’ through the various obstacles and complete activities. These include fetching a ball, jumping over obstacles, running through a tunnel a slalom between poles and running through the ramp. A video showcasing these functions has been shared.
However, the most exciting potential in this project is the proposal of new dog breeds for the LEGO Group using existing pieces, but with new prints and designs on them.
This dog park joins 35 other LEGO Ideas projects in the third 2022 review, though it would have been 37 without the disappearance of another build.
