Another LEGO Ideas castle project has reached the review stage

LEGO Ideas users are continuing to prove that minifigure-scale castles are in demand with another fortress reaching the latest review stage.

The third 2021 LEGO Ideas review phase has just expanded with a 16th model thanks to xXgGhostXx‘s Castle Outpost, making it the first of their many medieval projects to do so.

The latest member of the 10K club has been inspired by the brick-built castles of the past with the build, as evidenced by the four-walled design that is reminiscent of 70404 King’s Castle from 2013 and other similar sets. A twist has been introduced in the model though, with a modular construction that allows for parts to be mixed and matched, as well as see the interior of each tower.

Nine minifigures are proposed as included, with eight guards and one commoner to tend to the stables in the courtyard. Two horses are also featured as well as various weapons and other minifigure accessories.

This is the 17th project in the third 2021 LEGO Ideas review, and you can take a look at what other builds will be vying for the judges’ favour below:

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
