LEGO MASTERS 2018 champions crowned

Last night’s LEGO MASTERS Series 2 final saw the winners for 2018 selected. After five weeks, that saw eight pairs of LEGO builders were whittled down to one, the LEGO MASTERS 2018 champions were chosen last night on Channel 4. Paul and Lewis were crowned victorious after producing an excellent seaside scene for their Master Build, including a working mutoscope. Izzy and Stuart came second, after producing a Master Build anchored around the idea that children can do anything, which was also an impressive model. Kato and Jayden and Chris and Joseph had been knocked out in the penultimate round. Although a Christmas special will screen next Tuesday, last night’s episode was the final in the competition proper for this year. Paul and Lewis join last year’s winners Steve and Nate as LEGO MASTERS title holders, having grown each week during the contest, carefully adjusting their approach based on the judges’ feedback. Tuesday’s Child, the production company behind LEGO MASTERS, is looking for contestants to apply to take part in Series 3. Next week is the LEGO MASTERS Christmas special, with some of the young contestants from the series partnering with celebrity helpers.
