BIONICLE: Toa Head Statue reaches 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas

The latest fan-made project to hit the 10,000 supporters mark is BIONICLE: Toa Head Statue, a recreation of the iconic face.

Successful submissions to make it into the first LEGO Ideas review of 2023 are currently coming in thick and fast. Earlier today saw DuckTales: The Money Bin managing to gain 10,000 supporters and now yet another fan-designed creation is joining it in the shape of BIONICLE: Toa Head Statue.

The model is a 22.5cm tall recreation of the iconic face behind the Masks of Power and was created by yannickbuildsthings. Similar to LEGO helmet sets, BIONICLE: Toa Head Statue is intended to be a display model that celebrates its original source material theme. The build was constructed using 597 pieces and only uses a minimal amount of proposed recoloured parts, including a silver version of the Kanohi Hau released as part of the 2010 Bionicle Stars line.

The LEGO BIONICLE fanbase has a very committed and vocal following, one that was recently rewarded with a retro GWP based on two characters from the range. There are now a total of 44 submissions in the first LEGO Ideas review for 2023, with a decision on which creations will make it through to the next stage due to take place sometime later this year.
