Order up! McDonald’s and Jumanji join the LEGO Ideas avalanche
LEGO Ideas is slowing down day by day, but there are still two new additions to the second review round of 2025 today alone.
The second review round of 2025 is finally starting to slow down. Three projects qualified yesterday (July 17) and two more today (July 18), which is a far more gradual rate than the dozens that sped past 10,000 supporters within a week not too long ago.
Jumanji
TangTaizong’s Jumanji recreates the popular 1995 movie, translating characters and scenes into LEGO form. That includes seven minifigures, with two versions of Alan Parrish, as well as Sarah Whittle, Judy and Peter Shepherd, Officer Carl, and Van Pelt. The build itself features the library, the kitchen, and a vine-invested staircase on the first floor, with bedrooms and an attic above. Outside, Officer Carl’s car is parked on the curb.
McDonald’s No. 1 Store Museum
Rather than recreate a McDonald’s restaurant, Denskiy’s McDonald’s No. 1 Store Museum visits the museum that operated between 1985 and 2018 in Des Plaines, Illinois, USA, built on the site of one of the very first McDonald’s restaurants. Although it’s no longer there, the fan designer wanted to immortalise the space forever in LEGO form, complete with a commemorative plaque and the brand’s cartoon mascot, Speedee.
