Another LEGO Ideas project based on the history of a royal family is being considered for a future LEGO set, paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.
Legolux1973 is the latest member of LEGO Ideas' 10K club thanks to their Queen Elizabeth II submission. First added to LEGO Ideas on September 22, 2022, the model proposes a tribute to the late monarch depicting her desk at Buckingham Palace on a 16 by 16 stud base.
Its design is similar to other tribute projects and may remind you of the recent 40595 Tribute to Galileo Galilei, paying tribute to the Queen instead of the famed astronomer. Whether a tribute set to a member of a royal member family as feasible as it is for Galileo Galilei could affect how this model performs in the third 2023 review.
The project proposes a minifigure of Queen Elizabeth II as well as two corgis. It's not the first submission on LEGO Ideas proposing a royal tribute as it follows The Crown – A Piece of History from the first 2023 review, which was inspired by Danish royalty.
