LEGO Ideas is all about the holidays in this review round
A third Christmas-themed LEGO set has reached the LEGO Ideas review round, marking the second from the very same franchise.
Fan designers Cityslickr and TheTimmyC have teamed up to build The Griswold Family Christmas House has made it past 10,000 votes on LEGO Ideas, marking the second time that the Griswold House has appeared after MadamEnthusiasticJay’s National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. It’s a real holiday party at LEGO Ideas, with Martin_Studio’s The Holiday – Rosehill Cottage (inspired by The Holiday) also making it into the current review round.
The latest addition to the mini Christmas collection features a detailed build of the central house from the movie, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. The walls list away to reveal a detailed interior, while the exterior is packed with snow and fun references from the film.
The designing duo have been working on the set since 2019 and were inspired by 21330 Home Alone. The detail carries all the way through from the drain pipes to the attic, with a lot of colour and detail meticulously included.
It becomes the 26th set in the first LEGO Ideas review of 2025. Remind yourself of its competition below and remember that its future now lies in the hands of the LEGO Ideas team.
