Cool Runnings project ensures LEGO Ideas has a bobsleigh team  

The first 2023 LEGO Ideas review now has a bobsleigh team thanks to the addition of a project inspired by cult classic – Cool Runnings. 

Submitted by SakaBassoon almost a year ago today, April 1, 2023, the 1993 film about a budding bobsleigh team from Jamaica – based on a true story – has inspired a LEGO Ideas model. 

The project features the bobsleigh on a section of the icy track on a display base with an informative plaque with four minifigures for the team. 

It has joined 54 other projects in the first 2023 review phase, though that would have been 55 without a recent change.
