Brick-built log cabin joins LEGO Ideas review stage
A trip to the woods might be in the future of
as a brick-built log cabin has reached 10K supporters, passing it into the next review round.Another
project has reached the required number of supporters to be considered as the next official set in the theme. It has also granted a new member a place in the coveted 10K club. Log Cabin by Galaxy333 is an aptly-named submission that portrays the handmade building amongst a blissful forest scene, with everything from detailed trees to a gentle river nearby.The brick-built plants in this set rival that of the LEGO Botanical Collection, but instead recreates the foliage at minifigure scale. This includes some mushrooms surrounding the cabin and reeds standing by the edge of the river.
A full interior is also included with room for a bed, a small painting and some tools. Such a model could pair well with
should it become a reality.As the 34th project in the latest LEGO Ideas review round, there may not be too many more that make it into this stage with the deadline being September 6th. Here’s what the Log Cabin will have to compete against for the judge’s favour:
