LEGO Ideas Stonewall National Monument, New York (U.S.A.) hits 10K

A key West Village neighbourhood of Lower Manhattan known for its connection to the modern LGBTQ rights movement in the US is the latest 10K LEGO Ideas submission.

Yet another fan-made LEGO Ideas creation has managed to make its way into the first review of 2025, with the model arriving ahead of an important cultural milestone. Stonewall National Monument, New York (U.S.A.) has been designed by FeaceBricks and represents the iconic West Village neighbourhood of Greenwich Village in Manhattan as it looks today, ahead of its 10th anniversary in 2026.

The 3,750-piece build includes the Stonewall Inn, a famous gay bar and site of the 1969 Stonewall riots, widely regarded as the start of the modern LGBTQ rights movement in the United States.

Stonewall National Monument, New York (U.S.A.) also features brick-built recreations of nearby Christopher Street, Christopher Park, home to the Gay Liberation sculpture by artist George Segal, a building at 59 Christopher Street that housed a gay rights association and is now home to a bar, plus an apartment and the office of an LGBTQIA+ helpline.

The LEGO Ides submission comes with a total of 13 diverse minifigures, with Stonewall National Monument, New York (U.S.A.) intended by its creator to be an “opportunity to combine creativity, play, and education, while also telling the everyday lives of LGBTQIA+ people, and sharing stories that inspires people around the world.”

Stonewall National Monument, New York (U.S.A.) now moves onto the crucial judging phase, with the results of the first LEGO Ideas review of 2025 due sometime later this year.
