LEGO Ideas might be the new home of LEGO Scooby-Doo

LEGO Scooby-Doo might have a chance at returning via LEGO Ideas as an in-depth manor model posits the revival of the animated theme.

After their last unfortunate attempt at pitching a LEGO Ideas Ravenswood Manor model this time last year, Tobnac is trying again to get their Scooby-Doo submission an official LEGO Ideas set. This revised build uses the features of BrickLink Studio to keep it under 5,000 pieces, following the September 2024 expansion of the LEGO Ideas rules.

Ravenswood Manor (V.2) features 4,973 pieces and proposes a sizable manor model with various functions that call back to the animated antics of the Scooby-Doo series. 75902 The Mystery Machine’s build is also proposed for the project, but with opening doors at the back this time.

Minifigures of Mystery Incorporated, a resident of the manor and a quartet of monsters are proposed as well, sufficiently filling up the Scooby-Doo creation.

LEGO Scooby-Doo existed as a full theme in 2015, but it was retired in 2016. Despite its retirement, at least 10,000 LEGO Ideas users are eager to see the theme return in some form. While this build has been rejected on LEGO Ideas before, the new parking lot feature might be exactly what this submission needs to succeed in the first 2025 review or later rounds. Here’s what currently stands a chance of receiving an official set in the first 2025 review.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
