Apple Store project paves the way for a LEGO Ideas set
Following in the footsteps of 21353 The Botanical Garden is a minifigure-scale Apple Store whose fan design isn’t quite as modular-demanding.
TrumanBricks has teamed up with LoudestSquashedWindra for the latest entry into the LEGO Ideas first 2025 review, proposing a sizable Apple Store model using 1,539 pieces over one 32 by 32 stud baseplate and an additional 32 by 16 stud baseplate.
The LEGO Apple Store comes complete with modern architectural details, indoor plants, various products to purchase and two floors of details for minifigures to explore. The pavement outside isn’t entirely suitable for the Modular Buildings collection, but with the baseplates, it would be easy enough to fit in your street.
Unlike the proposal that became 21353 The Botanical Garden, though, the base build isn’t demanding modular compatibility. This might prompt the LEGO Ideas team to stay true to the fan-designed foundations more than they did with 21353 The Botanical Garden, which removed any kind of modular building connections.
At the back of the build, a hidden compartment features brick-built tributes to the iMac G3, iPod mini, AirPods, Apple Watch and the Apple Vision Pro. A partnership with Apple would be new territory for the LEGO Group, but potentially fruitful for both brands.
For now, this project only has a chance at getting a future LEGO Ideas set alongside 48 other builds in the first 2025 review. Stay tuned for any further updates as this review round is coming to a close, since we’re nearing the time of year for the second 2025 review.
