LEGO Ideas Periodic Table of the Elements cracks the 10K formula
The latest addition to the first LEGO Ideas review of 2025 is The Periodic Table of the Elements, an impressive science-based build with 118 printed tiles.
The first LEGO Ideas review of 2025 recently added its 50th fan-designed submission to reach 10K supporters in the shape of The World of Studio Ghibli. Hot on its heels is yet another model, with The Periodic Table of the Elements also proving it has what it takes to become a potential future LEGO set.
Created by DrachenSteine, the scientific build represents all 118 elements with colourful 4×4 custom printed tiles attached to a black display background. Each piece includes the name and symbol of the element in question, along with its atomic number, mass, electronegativity and density.

The fan designer notes the model is meant to be similar in appearance to 31203 World Map, complete with a sturdy white frame and four hangers on the back, allowing the set to be displayed on a wall.
Rounding out The Periodic Table of the Elements is an 8×16 printed tile with the title of the build on it, plus a minifigure of Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev, the Russian chemist who created the first-ever version of the periodic table in 1869.
We’ll find out if The Periodic Table of the Elements has managed to solve the science behind becoming a physical set when the results of the first LEGO Ideas review of 2025 are revealed later this year.

Brickfanatics described recently how Lego designers have strict limits on how many new elements, including printed pieces, can be introduced over the entire range at any given time, so surely there must be zero chance of any one design getting this number of printed pieces allocated to it.
